Since 1986, 40-30 provides the maintenance of hardware and equipment for Production and Research Centres.
We offer our customers support in the process of skill transfer, realisation of know-how and continual improvement with our maintenance engineering and training services, our monitoring tools and our e-commerce platform.
40-30 devotes approximately 10% of its turnover to Research and Development. The 40-30 R&D department creates and develops maintenance strategies, tools and processes. It takes part in numerous innovating projects together with industrial partners and research organisations.
The R&D department focuses on upstream projects and studies geared to the major business areas of the company (maintenance, maintenance engineering, skill transfer, sourcing and software).
Its main assignments include:
- the development of new tools(measuring benches, innovating techniques, etc.) and new services.
- the opening to new markets.
Besides the technical aspect, methods are developed to improve maintenance actions, both internally and on our customers’ premises.
The search for faults, stock management, logistics and personnel training are the core needs of our customers. 40-30 provides them with its experience in designing tools that comply with the constraints associated with maintenance activities.
Internally, the R&D department offers a promotion of skills, both human and documentary, that allows our workers to flourish.
