The fruit of one year’s work in conjunction with Beta test customers, 40-30 has gone to the test phase of Version 3 of their procedure management software.

This new version will be available from January 2012 using a traditional licensing structure as well as online subscription (SaaS - Software as a Service).

The past year has brought suggestions from several customers that they would like to implement the Beta version in a wide variety of areas: production, laboratories, on-site customer support services.

The 40-30 IT team has been able to synthesise these comments into new functions such as voice commands, real-time acquisition of measurements and the integration of external data in the construction of procedures.

These functions are in addition to the main capabilities of the software: Publication of multimedia procedures, tactile display interfaces and traceability of operations, which have all been improved and which come with an entirely new graphic interface.

The AMPS solution lets users record and disseminate the information required for the performance of complex technical operations reliably and in a controlled manner. AMPS has also been evaluated for training and providing assistance to disabled persons.

The 40-30 site in Singapore was created in 2005 and is a benchmark in terms of future franchise sites.

40-30 has recently signed an ERAI contract to search for Italian industrial partners interested in setting up a 40-30 franchise in Italy.

An identical contract is soon to be signed for the UK.

In November 40-30 sponsored IWNA, the 3rd International Workshop on Nanotechnologies and Application, organised in Vietnam by the Ho Chi Min University in conjunction with CEA LETI.

40-30 was also present at the H.T.E. (HTE-HI.TECH.EXPO) exhibition in November 2011.
The exhibition looks at cutting edge technologies: photovoltaics, vacuum techniques, lasers, photonics and optoelectronics, nanotechnology, hydrogen and fuel cells.
