40-30 had the pleasure to welcome mid-September a group of trainers from AFPA, the French body for adult professional training, and CRP, professional reintegration centers.

40-30 had the pleasure to welcome mid-September a group of trainers from AFPA, the French body for adult professional training, and CRP, professional reintegration centers. This meeting is part of an annual AFPA event, “Electronics Professions Forum”, gathering trainers from all over France, and which includes, amongst others, the visit of an industrial company, at the place where the event takes place.

This year the event was held in Grenoble and AFPA chose to visit 40-30, because the company is typical of Grenoble microelectronics industry, and it builds strong ties between maintenance and training. The participants were also very interested by the different levels of jobs carried out at 40-30: adjustment, maintenance and repair.

In addition to the company and its activities presentation, the visit led to a constructive discussion between the 40-30 team and the trainers on various topics around electronics, like required skills for working in electronics maintenance, electronics profession levels, current training and employment trends among the industry.
